On January 30, 2008, we lost our amazing 20 year old son, Jeffrey, to Acute Mylogenous Leukemia. Just a few short weeks later, we lost his “little” brother Brian, 19, to a broken heart. I leave the light on for them every night … the light at the front door, just like I always did when they went out for the evening. I will leave the light on for them every night, wishing they could come home, but thinking they may already be there.

Here’s the thing … there is a hole in my heart and empty places at my table that will never be filled. So, all I know to do now is to leave the light on for my beautiful and amazing boys and to fight for a cure for the wretched disease that took our Jeff. Will you leave your light on, too? Will you leave your light on for Jeffrey??

He fought the good fight … now he soars with the angels.

Please visit the event on facebook and share with friends and family, and say you’ll attend.  All it takes is a flip of a switch on January 30th at 7pm. We are currently at 747. Help bring awareness & help me find a cure ~
