In July, 2013, Jeffrey’s Voice was pleased to present another significant contribution to the Jeffrey’s Voice Leukemia Research Fund at the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. Claude and Nancy Horne presented the donation on behalf of Jeffrey’s Voice to Dr. Amelia Langston, Medical Director, Emory Bone Marrow & Stem Cell Transplant Center. The Jeffrey’s Voice Leukemia Research Fund supports critical research that will lead to a cure for Leukemia and Blood Cancers and helps bring new and safer therapies to patients more quickly.

In accepting the donation, Dr. Langston said, “Jeffrey’s Voice is an important partner in the fight to find a cure for Leukemia and Blood Cancers. Progress has been made, but there is still so much more work to be done. With the Jeffrey’s Voice Leukemia Research FundĀ  supporting our efforts in the areas of research and identifying new treatments, more progress will continue to be made every day. We are pleased to have Jeffrey’s Voice on our team!”

This most recent donation, brings the total amount of the fund to over $100,000 in less than three years. Mrs. Horne, President of Jeffrey’s Voice said, “The wonderful generosity of our donors has made it possible for Jeffrey’s Voice to accomplish so much in a very short period of time. I know that, together, we will find a cure for Leukemia … together, we will reach the day when no more are lost, when all remissions are permanent, and when finally there is a cure for all.”
